Did you (O Muhammad SAW) observe him who turned away (from Islam). 33 And gave a little, then was grudging? 34 What! Has he knowledge of the Unseen so that he can see? 35 Has he not been made acquainted with what was written in the scriptures of Moses? 36 And with Abraham who kept his word: 37 That no burdened person (with sins) shall bear the burden (sins) of another. 38 And that there is not for man except that [good] for which he strives 39 and that in time [the nature of] all his striving will be shown [to him in its true light,] 40 and will be fully recompensed for his deeds. 41 And that unto thy Lord is the goal. 42 and that it is He alone who causes [you] to laugh and to weep; 43 and that it is He alone who deals death and grants life; 44 and He it is Who created the two kinds, the male and the female, 45 From a seed when lodged (in its place); 46 and on Him depends the life hereafter. 47 And that He it is Who enricheth and contenteth; 48 that He is the Lord of Sirius, 49 And that He destroyed the former (tribe of) A'ad, 50 And Thamud (people). He spared none of them. 51 and the people of Noah before -- certainly they did exceeding evil, and were insolent 52 And He brought perdition upon the subverted cities 53 and then covered them from sight forever. 54 So which then of your Lord's favors do you dispute? 55 THIS IS a warning like those warnings of old: 56 The Hour that was to come draws ever nearer. 57 none except Allah can disclose it. 58 Do you, perchance, find this tiding strange? 59 And will you laugh and not weep? 60 And you are lost in play! 61 Prostrate yourselves before God, and worship Him alone! ۩ 62
