Did you (O Muhammad SAW) observe him who turned away (from Islam). 33 And gave a little and [then] refrained? 34 Does he possess the knowledge of the unseen, thus, he sees (all things)? 35 Or, has he not been told of that which is in the Scrolls of Moses 36 and Abraham, he who paid his debt in full? 37 that no soul shall bear the burden of another; 38 and that nought shall be accounted unto man but what he is striving for; 39 and that [the fruit of] his striving shall soon be seen; 40 whereupon he shall be requited for it with the fullest requital; 41 And that unto thy Lord is the goal. 42 and that it is He alone who causes [you] to laugh and to weep; 43 and that it is He alone who deals death and grants life; 44 and that it is He who creates the two kinds - the male and the female 45 From the small seed when it is adapted 46 And that upon Him is another bringing forth. 47 and that it is He who gives riches and causes to hoard, 48 and that it is He alone who sustains the brightest star; 49 And that He did destroy the Ad of old 50 And Thamud - and He did not spare [them] - 51 And before them, the people of Nooh? Indeed they were more unjust and more rebellious than these! 52 And the overturned towns He hurled down 53 So that they were covered over by what they were covered over. 54 Then which of thy Lord's bounties disputest thou? 55 This is a warning among the warnings of yore. 56 There hath approached the approaching Hour. 57 None beside Allah can disclose it. 58 At this discourse then marvel ye? 59 Or do you laugh, and do you not weep 60 while you make merry? 61 Rather prostrate yourselves before Allah and serve Him. ۩ 62
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
End of Surah: The Stars (Al-Najm). Sent down in Mecca after Absoluteness (Al-Ikhlaas) before He Frowned ('Abasa)
