The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Woe to every fault-finding back-biter, 1 Who accumulated wealth and hoarded it, counting. 2 Thinking that his wealth would make him last for ever! 3 By no means! They will be thrown into hutamah. 4 and what shall teach thee what is the Crusher; 5 Fire of Allah, Kindled, 6 Which leaps up over the hearts, 7 Surely it shall be closed over upon them, 8 In extended columns. 9

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
