Al-Saaffaat 4 of 5
We were indeed gracious to Moses and Aaron, 114 and We delivered them and their people from the great distress. 115 We succoured them, and they gained the upper hand (against their enemies). 116 And We gave them the clear Scripture 117 And guided them to the Straight Path. 118 And We left for the twain among the posterity: 119 Peace be unto Musa and Harun. 120 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 121 truly they were among Our faithful servants. 122 And indeed Ilyas is one of the Noble Messengers. 123 (Call to mind) when he said to his people: “Will you not fear Allah? 124 “What! You worship Baal (an idol) and leave the Best Creator?” – 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your fathers of yore? 126 but they rejected him, and thus will certainly be called to account; 127 except for God's sincere servants; 128 And We left for him (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times; 129 "Peace upon Elias." 130 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 131 He was among Our believing worshipers. 132 And verily, Lout (Lot) was one of the Messengers. 133 When We saved him and his household, every one, 134 except an old woman who was among those that stayed behind; 135 and We destroyed the others. 136 And indeed you pass over them in the morning. – 137 And at night; will you not then reflect? 138
