The Spider (Al-Ankaboot)

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ Alif. Lam. Mim. 1 Do men think that they will be left alone on saying, We believe, and not be tried? 2 We certainly tried those who have gone before them, so God will certainly distinguish between those who are truthful and those who are lying. 3 Or do those who do ill-deeds imagine that they can outstrip Us? Evil (for them) is that which they decide. 4 Whoever expects to meet Allah – then indeed the time appointed by Allah will come; and He is the All Hearing, the All Knowing. 5 Whosoever struggles, struggles only to his own gain; surely God is All-sufficient nor needs any being. 6 And those who accepted faith and did good deeds – We will indeed relieve their sins and reward them for the best of their deeds. 7 We have advised the human being, "Be kind to your parents. Do not obey them if they force you to consider equal to Me things which you do not know are such." You will all return (to Me) and I shall show all that you have done. 8 We shall admit those who believe and do the right among the righteous. 9 There are some people who say: 'We believe in Allah' yet when such is hurt in the cause of Allah, he makes the persecution of people as though it were the punishment of Allah. But then if help comes from his Lord, he will say: 'We were with you' Does Allah not know what is in the chests of the worlds (people)? 10 And Allah will surely make evident those who believe, and He will surely make evident the hypocrites. 11 The unbelievers say to those who believe: 'Follow our path, and we will carry your sins' Yet they cannot carry even a thing of their sins. They are surely lying. 12 And surely they shall bear their loads and other loads beside their own loads, and surely they shall be questioned on the Day of Resurrection concerning that which they were wont to fabricate. 13

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
