And We indeed did a great favour to Moosa and Haroon. 114 We saved them and their people from great distress; 115 We helped them, and they became victorious, 116 We gave them the explicit Book, 117 And We guided them to the Straight Way. 118 and left for them among the later folk 119 Peace be upon Moosa and Haroon! 120 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 121 truly they were among Our faithful servants. 122 AND, BEHOLD, Elijah [too] was indeed one of Our message-bearers 123 He said to his people, "Have you no fear [of God?] 124 Do you call on Ba'lan (the idol Baal) and abandon the Best Creator, 125 who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 They denied him, and will surely be brought to punishment, 127 Except the chosen creatures of God. 128 And We left for him among the posterity: 129 Peace be with the followers of Elias. 130 That is how We reward those who do good. 131 Indeed, he was of Our believing servants. 132 And lo! Lot verily was of those sent (to warn). 133 [and so,] when [We decreed the doom of his sinful town,] We saved him and his household, 134 Except an old woman (his wife) who was among those who remained behind. 135 We then destroyed the others. 136 You pass by their ruins morning 137 and night: will you not take heed? 138
