Say: I am only a warner, and there is no god but Allah, the One, the Subduer (of all): 65 Lord of the heavens and earth and everything between them, the Almighty, the Most Forgiving." 66 Say, "It (facts about the supremacy of God) is the greatest message, 67 yet you ignore it. 68 I had no knowledge of the exalted assembly [of angels] when they were disputing [the creation of Adam]. 69 had it not been revealed unto me [by God] - to no other end than that I might convey [unto you] a plain warning. 70 [So mention] when your Lord said to the angels, "Indeed, I am going to create a human being from clay. 71 and when I give it proper shape and blow My spirit into it, bow down in prostration to him," 72 The angels prostrated themselves, all of them. 73 Not so Iblis: he was haughty, and became one of those who reject Faith. 74 He (Allah) said: 'iblis, what prevented you from prostrating yourself towards that which I have created with My Hands? Have you become too proud, or are you among the grand' 75 He said: I am better than he; Thou hast created me of fire, and him Thou didst create of dust. 76 [Allah] said, "Then get out of Paradise, for indeed, you are expelled. 77 And verily My curse shall be on thee till the Day of Requital, 78 He said: My Lord! Reprieve me till the day when they are raised. 79 (Allah) said: "Verily! You are of those allowed respite 80 for an appointed time". 81 He said, "By Your Honour, I will lead all of them astray, 82 [all] save such of them as are truly Thy servants!" 83 [Allah] said, "The truth [is My oath], and the truth I say - 84 I will certainly fill the Gehenna with you and with all those among them who follow you.” 85 (O Prophet), tell them: “I do not ask you for any recompense for the performance of this task; nor am I given to affectation. 86 It is nothing but a reminder unto all beings, 87 “And you will come to know of its tidings, after a while.” 88
