Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Ta. Ha. 1 We have not sent down the Qur'an to you that you should be burdened, 2 Nay, it is a reminder to him who fears: 3 It is a revelation from the Creator of the earth and the high heavens. 4 The ever-merciful, established on the throne (of authority). 5 His is what is in the heavens and what is in the earth and what is between them two and what is beneath the ground. 6 And if you utter the saying aloud, then surely He knows the secret, and what is yet more hidden. 7 Allah! there is no god but He! To Him belong the most Beautiful Names. 8 Has the story of Moses reached thee? 9 When he saw a fire he said to his family: "You wait here. I have seen a fire. I may haply be able to bring an ember from it, or find direction by the fire." 10 And when he came to it (the fire), he was called by name: "O Musa (Moses)! 11 I am thy Lord; put off thy shoes; thou art in the holy valley, Towa. 12 I have chosen you. So listen to what is being revealed. 13 Verily I am Allah. There is no god beside Me. So serve Me and establish Prayers to remember Me. 14 Although it is certain that the Day of Judgment will come, I prefer to keep it almost a secret so that every soul will receive the recompense for what it has done (on its own). 15 Therefor, let not him turn thee aside from (the thought of) it who believeth not therein but followeth his own desire, lest thou perish. 16 What is that in your right band, O Moses?" 17 He said: "This is my stick, whereon I lean, and wherewith I beat down branches for my sheep, and wherein I find other uses." 18 He said: 'Moses, cast it down' 19 So he cast it down; and lo! it was a serpent running. 20 Allah said: take hold of it, and fear not; We shall restore it to its former state. 21 And press your hand to your side, it shall come out white without evil: another sign: 22 “In order that We may show you Our great signs.” 23 “Go to Firaun, he has rebelled.” 24

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
