VERILY, those who are conscious of God [shall find themselves in the hereafter] amidst gardens and springs, 45 “Enter them with peace, in safety.” 46 And We shall have removed whatsoever of grudge may be in their breasts: brethren they; sitting upon couches facing each other. 47 They shall face no fatigue in it, nor shall they ever be driven out of it. 48 ۞ Tell My servants that I - I alone - am truly forgiving, a true dispenser of grace; 49 But My punishment is surely a painful one. 50 And tell them about Abraham's guests. 51 When the angels came to him and said, “Peace"; he said, “We feel afraid of you.” 52 They replied, "Do not be afraid. We have brought you the glad news of (the birth) of a learned son". 53 Abraham asked, "Are you giving me the glad news of a son in my old age? What reason can you give for such glad news?" 54 They (the angels) said: "We give you glad tidings in truth. So be not of the despairing ones." 55 He said: And who despaireth of the mercy of his Lord save those who are astray? 56 Messengers, what is your task?" 57 They said: Surely we are sent towards a guilty people, 58 Only the family of Lot will all be saved, 59 "Other than his wife who, it is decreed, will remain with those who will stay behind." 60
