Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the winds which carry dust particles, 1 and those that carry the burden [of heavy clouds,] 2 Then those (ships) that glide easily, 3 And those [angels] apportioning [each] matter, 4 Verily that which ye are promised is true; 5 and the Day of Judgment will inevitably take place. 6 I swear by the heaven full of ways. 7 Certainly, you have different ideas (about Muhammad SAW and the Quran). 8 Through which are deluded (away from the Truth) such as would be deluded. 9 Perish the conjecturers 10 Who are within a flood [of confusion] and heedless. 11 they who [mockingly] ask, "When is that Day of Judgment to be?" 12 (It will be) a Day when they will be tried (and tested) over the Fire! 13 'Taste your trial. This is what you have sought to hasten' 14 Surely the God-fearing will find themselves in the midst of gardens and springs. 15 Taking what their Lord gives them; surely they were before that, the doers of good. 16 They used to sleep but little in the night. 17 And in the morning they asked forgiveness. 18 and the beggar and the outcast had a share in their wealth. 19 In the earth are signs for those having sure faith; 20 and also in yourselves. Can you not see? 21 And in heaven is your provision and also what you are being promised. 22 So by the Lord of heaven and earth, it is as surely true as that you have speech. 23
