The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Proclaim the Purity of your Lord, the Supreme. 1 The One Who created, and then made proper. 2 who has ordained and guided, 3 and who brings forth herbage, 4 Then makes it dried up, dust-colored. 5 We shall teach you (the Quran) and you will not forget it 6 Save that which Allah may will. Verily He knoweth the public and that which is hidden. 7 And We will make it easy for thee (to follow) the simple (Path). 8 Therefore advise, if advising is beneficial. 9 in mind will keep it he who stands in awe [of God,] 10 And the wretched shunneth it. 11 Who will burn in the terrible Fire, 12 wherein he will neither die nor remain alive. 13 But those will prosper who purify themselves, 14 And magnifies the name of his Lord and prays. 15 But rather you prefer the life of this world! 16 whereas the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 And this is in the Books of the earliest (Revelation),- 18 the Scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
True are the words of God the Almighty.
