Are ye the harder to create, or is the heaven that He built? 27 Raised it high, proportioned it, 28 and He has made dark its night and brought forth its light of day. 29 and thereafter spread out the earth, 30 And he brought forth therefrom its water, and its pasture. 31 And the mountains hath He firmly fixed;- 32 [all this] as a means of livelihood for you and your animals. 33 AND SO, when the great overwhelming event [of resurrection] comes to pass 34 The Day when man shall remember what he strove for, 35 Hell fire will become visible for those who would see it. 36 Then, as for him who rebelled 37 and preferred the life of this world, 38 The Abode will be Hell-Fire; 39 But he who feared standing before his Lord, and restrained his self from vain desires, 40 Lo! the Garden will be his home. 41 They ask you about the hour, when it will come. 42 About what! You are one to remind of it. 43 With thy Lord is the Limit fixed therefore. 44 You are only a warner to him who would fear it. 45 On the day when they behold it, it will be as if they had but tarried for an evening or the morn thereof. 46
