The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate

By (the horses) that charge snorting, 1 Then those striking sparks of fire, 2 And raiding at dawn 3 And raise the dust in clouds the while, 4 Cleaving, as one, the centre (of the foe), 5 That man is ungrateful to his Lord 6 And verily to that he is witness. 7 And is intractable in his love of worldly goods. 8 ۞ But does he not know that when the contents of the graves are scattered 9 And that which is (locked up) in (human) breasts is made manifest- 10 surely on that day their Lord shall be aware of them! 11

True are the words of God the Almighty.
