The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)
8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
When the earth is shaken with its violent shaking, 1 And Earth yieldeth up her burdens, 2 And man says: What has befallen her? 3 That day it will narrate its annals, 4 Because your Lord has commanded it. 5 On that day men shall come forth in sundry bodies that they may be shown their works. 6 And so, he who shall have done an atom's weight of good, shall behold it; 7 and whoever does an atom's weight of evil shall see it. 8
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
