The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate

WHEN THE EARTH quakes with her [last] mighty quaking, 1 And the earth bringeth forth her burthens, 2 And man cries (distressed): 'What is the matter with her?'- 3 On that day earth will narrate its news, 4 for that her Lord has inspired her. 5 Upon that day men shall issue in scatterings to see their works, 6 and whoso has done an atom's weight of good shall see it, 7 and whoso has done an atom's weight of evil shall see it. 8

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
