When we are dead and turned to dust and bones, shall we then be raised again? 47 “And also our forefathers?” 48 Say: "Yea, those of old and those of later times, 49 shall all be brought together on an appointed Day. 50 Then you, the erring ones and those that gave the lie to the Truth, 51 shall eat the fruit of the tree of Zaqqum, 52 filling your bellies, with it 53 and drink boiling water on top of that, 54 lapping it down like thirsty camels.' 55 This shall be their entertainment on the Day of Judgement. 56 We created you, then why do you believe not? 57 So what is your opinion regarding the semen you discharge? 58 Create him ye, or are We the Creator? 59 It is We Who ordained death upon you and We are not to be frustrated. 60 Had We so wished, nothing could have hindered Us from replacing you by others like yourselves, or transforming you into beings you know nothing about. 61 You have surely known of the first creation. Why then, will you not remember! 62 Tell Me! The seed that you sow in the ground. 63 is it you that sow it, or are We the Sower? 64 We could turn it, if We pleased, into straw; then you would rue the day, 65 Verily we are undone. 66 nay, we have been robbed!' 67 Have you considered the water which you drink? 68 Is it you who cause it from the rainclouds to come down, or are We the Causer of it to come down? 69 If We will We can make it bitter, so why do you not give thanks? 70 Have you considered the fire you kindle? 71 Is it you who made the tree thereof to grow, or are We the Grower? 72 We have made it a reminder and provision for the travelers, 73 So exalt the name of your Lord, the Most Great. 74
