Have you not seen how We send down to the unbelievers satans who prick them? 83 So make no haste against them, for We but count out to them a (limited) number (of days). 84 On the day that We shall muster the godfearing to the All-merciful with pomp 85 and drive the evildoers as herds, into Gehenna 86 who have no power of intercession, except those who have taken a covenant with the Merciful. 87 And they say, "The Most Merciful has taken [for Himself] a son." 88 You have uttered a grievous thing 89 the heavens might well-nigh burst thereat, and the earth break asunder, and the mountains fall down in pieces, 90 That they ascribe a son (or offspring or children) to the Most Beneficent (Allah). 91 For it is not consonant with the majesty of (Allah) Most Gracious that He should beget a son. 92 None there is in the heavens and the earth but must come unto the Compassionate as a bondman. 93 Certainly He has a comprehensive knowledge of them and He has numbered them a (comprehensive) numbering. 94 And every one of them will come to Him on the day of resurrection alone. 95 Surely those who believe and do deeds of righteousness -- unto them the All-merciful shall assign love. 96 We have made it easy in your own tongue in order that you proclaim the glad tidings to the cautious and give warning to a stubborn nation. 97 And how many a generation have We destroyed before them! Perceivest thou of them anyone or hear of them a whisper? 98
