The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
۞ Hallow thou the name of thine Lord, the Most High, 1 Who hath created, and further, given order and proportion; 2 who determined and guided, 3 The One Who produced pasture. 4 and then made it into a blackish straw. 5 We shall make you recite so that you will not forget, 6 except whatever God wills; He knows both what is manifest and what is hidden -- 7 And We will make your way smooth to a state of ease. 8 Therefore give admonition in case the admonition profits (the hearer). 9 He will heed who feareth, 10 But the most hapless will flout it, 11 he who [in the life to come] shall have to endure the great fire 12 Neither dying therein nor living. 13 He indeed shall be successful who purifies himself, 14 And glorify the name of their Guardian-Lord, and (lift their hearts) in prayer. 15 Nay! you prefer the life of this world, 16 and the world to come is better, and more enduring. 17 Lo! This is in the former scrolls. 18 the revelations of Abraham and Moses. 19
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
