And We did certainly confer favor upon Moses and Aaron. 114 And saved them and their people from great distress, 115 And We helped them, so they were the vanquishers. 116 And We bestowed the clear Book to both of them. 117 and guided them the straight way, 118 And We left for them (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times; 119 Peace be on Musa and Haroun. 120 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 121 Lo! they are two of Our believing slaves. 122 AND, BEHOLD, Elijah [too] was indeed one of Our message-bearers 123 Recall what time he said unto his people: fear ye not? 124 "Will you call upon Ba'l (a well- known idol of his nation whom they used to worship) and forsake the Best of creators, 125 "Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 And they denied him, so indeed, they will be brought [for punishment], 127 except the sincere servants of God. 128 And We left for him among the posterity: 129 "Peace and salutation to such as Elias!" 130 Verily, thus do We reward the doers of good 131 For he was one of our believing Servants. 132 Lot was certainly a Messenger. 133 [So mention] when We saved him and his family, all, 134 except for an old woman who was among those that stayed behind. 135 We then destroyed the others. 136 And most surely you pass by them in the morning, 137 and night: will you not take heed? 138
