۞ Proclaim, “I advise you just one thing; that stand up for Allah's sake, in twos and ones, and then think”; there is not a trace of insanity in this companion of yours; he is not but a Herald of Warning for you, before the advent of a severe punishment! 46 Say: "The reward I ask is for yourself. My reward is due from none but God; and He is witness over everything." 47 Say: "Verily, my Sustainer hurls the truth [against all that is false] He who fully knows all the things that are beyond the reach of a created being's perception!" 48 Say: "The Truth has arrived, and Falsehood neither creates anything new, nor restores anything." 49 Say thou: if ever I go astray, I shall stray only against myself, and if I remain guided it is because of that which my Lord hath revealed unto me. Verily He is Hearing, Nigh. 50 If you could see when they are gripped by terror without any escape, and are seized from close at hand 51 They will say: "We believe in it." How could they reach it from a place of no return? 52 They had rejected it in their worldly life and expressed disbelief at the unseen (Day of Judgment), considering it less than a remote possibility. 53 A gulf will exist between them and their desires on the Day of Judgment like the similar people who lived before. They, too, had lived in doubt and uncertainty (about the life hereafter). 54
