Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful

Hast thou seen him who cries lies to the Doom? 1 It is he who turns down the orphans 2 And does not encourage the feeding of the poor. 3 Woe, therefore, unto such performers of prayer. 4 who become confused during their prayers, 5 They who would be seen, 6 And withhold [simple] assistance. 7

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
