No, by the moon! 32 And the night when it withdraweth 33 And the daybreak when it shines; 34 That (Hell) is surely one of the greater (signs), 35 It is a warning for mankind 36 To him among you who wishes to go forward or remain behind. 37 Every soul will be (held) in pledge for its deeds. 38 Except those on the Right, (i.e. the pious true believers of Islamic Monotheism); 39 Sitting in the gardens, asking 40 concerning the sinners, 41 "what led you into hell?" 42 They will say: "We were not of those who prayed; 43 "Nor we used to feed Al-Miskin (the poor); 44 We indulged and persisted in useless disputes, 45 and the Day of Judgment we were wont to call a lie 46 “Till death overcame us.” 47 So, the intercession of intercessors will not avail them. 48 So what is the matter with them that they turn away from the advice? 49 As if they were frightened (wild) donkeys. 50 fleeing from a lion? 51 Aye! every one of them desireth that: he should be vouchsafed scrolls expanded. 52 Nay, but they do not [believe in and hence, do not] fear the life to come. 53 By no means! Verily this Qur'an is an admonition. 54 So whosoever will may heed. 55 And they will not receive admonition unless Allah wills; He (Allah) is the One, deserving that mankind should be afraid of, and should be dutiful to Him, and should not take any Ilah (God) along with Him, and He is the One Who forgives (sins). 56
