The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
By the heaven of the constellations! 1 And the promised day, 2 And by oath of the day that is a witness and by oath of a day in which the people present themselves. 3 the people of the pit were destroyed 4 Of the fire (kept burning) with fuel, 5 As they sat around it 6 Witnessing what they had done to the believers! 7 They had naught against them save that they believed in Allah, the Mighty, the Owner of Praise, 8 and the One to whom belongs the heavens and the earth. God is the Witness of all things. 9 Indeed those who troubled the Muslim men and Muslim women, and then did not repent – for them is the punishment of hell, and for them is the punishment of fire. 10 Those who believe, and do righteous deeds, for them await gardens underneath which rivers flow; that is the great triumph. 11 The grip of your Lord is severe indeed! 12 Surely it is He who originates, and brings again, 13 And He is Oft-Forgiving, full of love (towards the pious who are real true believers of Islamic Monotheism), 14 Lord of the Arsh, the Glorious, 15 Performer of what He desires. 16 HAS IT ever come within thy ken, the story of the [sinful] hosts 17 Of Pharaoh and (the tribe of) Thamud? 18 Nay! The disbelievers (persisted) in denying (Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) and his Message of Islamic Monotheism). 19 But Allah doth encompass them from behind! 20 Indeed, this is a Glorious Koran, 21 [Inscribed] in a Preserved Slate. 22
