And this (Qur'an) is a revelation from the Lord of all the worlds, 192 With it came down the spirit of Faith and Truth- 193 To thy heart and mind, that thou mayest admonish. 194 In eloquent Arabic. 195 And lo! it is in the Scriptures of the men of old. 196 Is it not a token for them that the doctors of the Children of Israel know it? 197 Had We revealed it to any one of the non-Arabs, 198 and he had recited it to them, they would not have believed. 199 Thus do We make it traverse the hearts of the guilty. 200 They will not believe in it till they behold the painful doom, 201 that will come upon them [on resurrection,] all of a sudden, without their being aware [of its approach]; 202 They will therefore say, “Will we get some respite?” 203 Do they wish to hasten Our punishment? 204 Did you consider that if We were to let them enjoy life for many years 205 Then there comes to them that with which they are threatened, 206 what will it then avail them, the enjoyment of days they were given? 207 And We destroyed no township but it had its warners 208 and reminded: for, never do We wrong [anyone]. 209 The satans have not revealed the Quran; 210 They are not worthy of it, nor have they power. 211 Indeed they have been removed far from even (a chance of) hearing it. 212 So call thou not upon another god with God, lest thou shouldst be one of those that are chastised. 213 And admonish thy nearest kinsmen, 214 And lower your wing to those who follow you of the believers. 215 So if they do not obey you, then say, “Indeed I am unconcerned with what you do.” 216 Put thy trust in the All-mighty, the All-compassionate 217 who sees you when you stand up [for prayer], 218 And watches your movements among those who prostrate in prayer. 219 Lo! He, only He, is the Hearer, the Knower. 220 Shall I inform you upon whom the devils descend? 221 They descend on every lying sinner, 222 They listen, but most of them are liars. 223 As for poets, only the wayward follow them. 224 See you not that they speak about every subject (praising others right or wrong) in their poetry? 225 And that they say that which they do not? 226 Save those that believe, and do righteous deeds, and remember God oft, and help themselves after being wronged; and those who do wrong shall surely know by what overturning they will be overturned. 227
Almighty Allah's Truth.
