The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)
8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
WHEN THE WORLD is shaken up by its cataclysm, 1 when the earth shakes off her burdens, 2 the human being will say (in horror), "What is happening to it?" 3 On that Day it shall proclaim its news, 4 for your Lord has so directed it. 5 That Day mankind will proceed in scattered groups that they may be shown their deeds. 6 Then whosoever hath worked good of an atom's weight shall behold it 7 and whoso has done an atom's weight of evil shall see it. 8
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
