Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat)
60 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Dunes (Al-Ahqaaf) before Overwhelming (Al-Ghaasheyah)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
By oath of those which carry away while dispersing. 1 by the clouds which are heavily loaded with water, 2 Then by oath of those which move with ease. 3 and distributing the command of God at His behest! 4 Undoubtedly, the promise you are given is surely true. 5 The Judgement will indeed take place. 6 I swear by the heaven full of ways. 7 You are indeed in different opinions regarding this Qur’an. 8 and perverted therefrom are some. 9 May the conjecturers perish, 10 Those who have forgotten in a state of intoxication. 11 They ask: When is the Day of Judgment? 12 On the Day of Judgment they will be punished by the fire 13 'Taste your trial! This is that you were seeking to hasten.' 14 Surely the godfearing shall be among gardens and fountains 15 Taking that which their Lord will vouchsafe unto hem. Verily they have been before that well-doers. 16 sleeping little in the night-time, 17 and would pray for forgiveness from their innermost hearts; 18 They assigned a share of their property for the needy and the destitute. 19 There are many Signs on earth for those of sure faith, 20 As also in your own selves: Will ye not then see? 21 And in the heaven is your providence and that which ye are promised; 22 for, by the Sustainer of heaven and earth, this [life after death] is the very truth - as true as that you are endowed with speech! 23

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
There are memorization exercises for the original Arabic and English transliterated Arabic modes only. The English translation mode has no memorization exercises.
