And make mention (O Muhammad) of Our bondman Job, when he cried unto his Lord (saying): Lo! the devil doth afflict me with distress and torment. 41 [So he was told], "Strike [the ground] with your foot; this is a [spring for] a cool bath and drink." 42 And We granted him his family and a like [number] with them as mercy from Us and a reminder for those of understanding. 43 And take in your hand a green branch and beat her with It and do not break your oath; surely We found him patient; most excellent the servant! Surely he was frequent in returning (to Allah). 44 And remember Our servants, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob - those of strength and [religious] vision. 45 Assuredly We purified them with a quality most pure, the remembrance of the Abode, 46 Lo! in Our sight they are verily of the elect, the excellent. 47 And remember Ismail and Al-Yasha and Zulkifl; and they were all of the best. 48 Such is their noble story. The pious ones will certainly have the best place to return. 49 The gardens of perpetuity, the doors are opened for them. 50 Therein they will recline; therein they will call for plenteous fruit and drink. 51 ۞ and with them maidens restraining their glances of equal age. 52 This is what you are promised for the day of reckoning. 53 Most surely this is Our sustenance; it shall never come to an end; 54 This: and verily for the exorbitant there shall be an evil retreat: 55 Hell! Where they will burn, and worst (indeed) is that place to rest! 56 This is so! Then let them taste it, a boiling fluid and dirty wound discharges. 57 and, coupled with it, further [suffering] of a similar nature. 58 Here is a multitude rushing headlong with you. There is no welcome for them. They will roast in the fire. 59 They will reply: “Rather, no welcome to you. (You will roast in Hell.) It is you who led us to this end. What an evil resort!” 60 They say: Our Lord! Whoever did prepare this for us, oh, give him double portion of the Fire! 61 And they will say: "What has happened to us that we see not men whom we used to number among the bad ones? 62 Is it that we mistakenly made fun of them; or have they disappeared from our sight?” 63 Surely that is true the disputing of the inhabitants of the Fire 64
