Thorns (Al-Masad)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Key (Al-Faatehah) before The Rolling (Al-Takweer)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

The power of Abu Lahab will perish, and he will perish. 1 What will his wealth avail him, and all that he has gained? 2 He shall soon enter a Blazing Fire, 3 and also his wife who carries the fuel, 4 with a rope of twisted fibre round her neck. 5

God the Almighty always says the truth.
