Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ WHEN THE SKY is split asunder, 1 when the planets are scattered, 2 When the seas are poured forth, 3 and the graves are turned inside out, 4 Every soul shall know what it has sent before and held back. 5 Human being, what evil has deceived you about your Gracious Lord, 6 who has created thee, and formed thee in accordance with what thou art meant' to be, and shaped thy nature in just proportions, 7 In whatever shape He will He could surely have fashioned you. 8 Nay, [O men,] but you [are lured away from God whenever you are tempted to] give the lie to [God's] Judgment! 9 Surely, there are guardians watching over you, 10 noble scribes 11 They know whatever you do. 12 Most surely the righteous are in bliss, 13 And indeed, the wicked will be in Hellfire. 14 which they will enter on the Day of Judgment 15 And will not be removed from it. 16 How can you comprehend what the Day of Judgement is? 17 And once again: What could make thee conceive what that Judgment Day will be? 18 It is the Day when no one shall have the power to do anything for another, and all command shall be Allah's. 19
