Man asks, "When I am once dead, shall I be raised to life?" 66 Will not man remember that We created him aforetime, when he was nothing? 67 And so, by thy Sustainer, [on Judgment Day] We shall most certainly bring them forth together with the satanic forces [which impelled them in life] and then We shall most certainly gather them, on their knees, around hell; 68 Then We will surely extract from every sect those of them who were worst against the Most Merciful in insolence. 69 We know best who deserves greater suffering in hell fire. 70 There is not one of you but will pass over it (Hell); this is with your Lord; a Decree which must be accomplished. 71 And We will deliver those who guarded (against evil), and We will leave the unjust therein on their knees. 72 And when Our clear verses are recited to them, the disbelievers say to the Muslims, “Which group has a better home, and a better alliance?” 73 How many generations that had far more wealth and ostentation have We laid low before them! 74 Say: As for him who remains in error, the Beneficent Allah will surely prolong his length of days, until they see what they were threatened with, either the punishment or the hour; then they shall know who is in more evil plight and weaker in forces 75 And Allah increases in guidance those who go aright; and ever-abiding good works are with your Lord best in recompense and best in yielding fruit. 76 Note the words of the disbeliever, "I shall certainly be given wealth and children?" 77 Hath he perused the Unseen, or hath he made a pact with the Beneficent? 78 Indeed not. We shall record what he says and shall prolong the punishment for him. 79 And it is We only Who shall inherit what he says (belongs to him), and he will come to Us, alone. 80 They have taken other gods apart from God that they might be a strength to them. 81 Nay, but they will deny their worship of them, and become opponents unto them. 82
