The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ Ta Sin Mim 1 These are the Verses of the manifest Book [this Quran, which was promised by Allah in the Taurat (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel), makes things clear]. 2 It may be that thou tormentest thyself (O Muhammad) because they believe not. 3 Had We wanted, We would have sent them a miracle from the sky to make their heads hang down in submission. 4 And there cometh not unto them any fresh admonition from the Compassionate but they are wont to be therefrom backsliders. 5 Now they have denied (the Truth); but there will come unto them tidings of that whereat they used to scoff. 6 Do they not observe the earth, how much of every good kind We cause to grow therein? 7 Verily therein is a sign; yet most of them are not believers. 8 And verily thy Lord! He is the Mighty, the Merciful. 9
