Surely Ibrahim was an exemplar, obedient to Allah, upright, and he was not of the polytheists. 120 [He was] grateful for His favors. Allah chose him and guided him to a straight path. 121 We gave him blessings in this world, and in the Hereafter he shall be among the righteous. 122 We sent you, (Muhammad), a revelation that you should follow the tradition of Abraham, the upright one, who was not a pagan. 123 The sabbath was only appointed for those who differed thereon; and verily thy Lord will judge between them on the Judgment-Day concerning that wherein they have been differing. 124 CALL THOU [all mankind] unto thy Sustainer's path with wisdom and goodly exhortation, and argue with them in the most kindly manner - for, behold, thy Sustainer knows best as to who strays from His path, and best knows He as to who are the right-guided. 125 And if ye do catch them out, catch them out no worse than they catch you out: But if ye show patience, that is indeed the best (course) for those who are patient. 126 And be patient, [O Muhammad], and your patience is not but through Allah. And do not grieve over them and do not be in distress over what they conspire. 127 God is certainly with the pious and the righteous ones. 128
True are the words of God the Almighty.
