Say: 'I am only a warner. There is not any god but God, the One, the Omnipotent, 65 He is the Lord of the heavens, the earth, and all that is between them, the Majestic and All-forgiving". 66 Say thou: it is a tiding mighty. 67 Ye are therefrom averting. 68 I had no knowledge of the exalted chiefs when they contended: 69 It has not been revealed to me except that I am a clear warner." 70 When your Lord said to the angels: “Verily I am creating a human being from clay. 71 So when I have fashioned him and breathed into him (his) soul created by Me, then you fall down prostrate to him." 72 So the angels prostrated themselves, all of them: 73 Except Iblis. He was filled with pride and turned an unbeliever. 74 Said He: "O Iblis! What has kept thee from prostrating thyself before that [being] which I have created with My hands? Art thou too proud [to bow down before another created being,] or art thou of those who think [only] of themselves as high?" 75 He said: I am better than him. Thou createdst me of fire, whilst him Thou didst create of clay. 76 (Allah) said: "Then get out from here, for verily, you are outcast. 77 "And verily!, My Curse is on you till the Day of Recompense." 78 He said: "O Lord, give me respite till the day the dead rise from their graves." 79 so He said, "You are granted respite 80 for an appointed time". 81 (Iblis) said: “By Your glory, I shall mislead them all 82 Save Thy bondmen among them Sincere. 83 Said He, 'This is the truth, and the truth I say; 84 "That I will certainly fill Hell with thee and those that follow thee,- every one." 85 Say (O Muhammad, unto mankind): I ask of you no fee for this, and I am no simulating. 86 this is simply an admonition to mankind, 87 and you will most certainly grasp its purport after a lapse of time!" 88
