We swear that We have created the human being and We know what his soul whispers to him. We are closer to him than even his jugular vein. 16 When the two Receivers receive (him), seated on the right hand and on the left, 17 The human being will certainly experience the agony of death 18 And when the agony of death comes in truth (they will say): 'This is what you have been trying to avoid' 19 And the Trumpet shall be blown; that is the Day of the Threat. 20 Each person will arrive attended by an [angel] to drive him on and another to bear witness. 21 (And unto the evil-doer it is said): Thou wast in heedlessness of this. Now We have removed from thee thy covering, and piercing is thy sight this day. 22 And his accompanying angel said, “This is the record of your deeds, available with me.” 23 It will be said to the angels, “Both of you fling every excessive ungrateful, stubborn person into hell.” 24 "Every obstructor of good, transgressor, and the sceptic, 25 “The one who appointed another God along with Allah – so both of you fling him into the severe punishment.” 26 ۞ His companion (Satan devil)] will say: "Our Lord! I did not push him to transgress, (in disbelief, oppression, and evil deeds) but he was himself in error far astray." 27 [Allah] will say, "Do not dispute before Me, while I had already presented to you the warning. 28 The Sentence that comes from Me cannot be changed, and I am not unjust (to the least) to the slaves." 29
