Al-A'alaa
The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 The One Who created, and then made proper. 2 And the One Who kept proper measure and then guided. 3 Who bringeth forth the pasturage, 4 And then doth make it (but) swarthy stubble. 5 We shall make thee recite, to forget not 6 Save that which Allah may will. Verily He knoweth the public and that which is hidden. 7 And We will make it easy for thee (to follow) the simple (Path). 8 Therefore remind, if the Reminder benefits, 9 The reminder will be received by him who fears (Allah), 10 but it will be ignored by the most unfortunate, 11 He will be cast into the Great Fire. 12 where he will neither die nor live. 13 Indeed successful is the one who became pure. 14 remembering his Lord's name and praying. 15 But you prefer the life of this world, 16 whereas the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 Lo! This is in the former scrolls. 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
