Or do those in whose hearts is a disease, think that Allah will not bring to light all their rancour? 29 Had We pleased We could have shown them to you that you could know them by their marks, and recognise them from the way they twist their words. Yet God knows all your deeds. 30 And verily We shall try you till We know those of you who strive hard (for the cause of Allah) and the steadfast, and till We test your record. 31 Surely, they who are bent on denying the truth and on barring [others] from the path of God, and oppose the Messenger when they have been shown guidance, cannot harm God in any way. He will cause all their deeds to come to nothing. 32 Believers, obey Allah and obey the Messenger and do not cause your works to be nullified. 33 ۞ Those who disbelieve and bar from God's way and then die disbelieving, them God will not forgive. 34 So be not weak and ask not for peace (from the enemies of Islam), while you are having the upper hand. Allah is with you, and will never decrease the reward of your good deeds. 35 The life of this world is but play and an amusement. If you believe and are cautious, He will give you your wage, and will not ask for your possessions. 36 If He were to ask you of it, and press you, you would covetously withhold, and He will bring out all your (secret) ill-wills. 37 Lo! ye are those who are called to spend in the way of Allah, yet among you there are some who hoard. And as for him who hoardeth, he hoardeth only from his soul. And Allah is the Rich, and ye are the poor. And if ye turn away He will exchange you for some other folk, and they will not be the likes of you. 38
