Kneeling (Al-Jaatheyah)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
Ha-Mim. 1 The revelation of the Scripture is from Allah, the Mighty, the Wise. 2 Indeed, within the heavens and earth are signs for the believers. 3 And in your creation, and all the creatures He scatters in the earth – in them are signs for the people who are certain. 4 and in the succession of night and day, and in the provision that Allah sends down from the sky wherewith He gives life to the earth after it had been lifeless, and in the change of the winds: (in all these) there are Signs for people who use reason. 5 These are the verses of Allah which We recite to you in truth. Then in what statement after Allah and His verses will they believe? 6 Woe to every sinful liar! 7 who hears God's messages when they are conveyed to him, and yet, as though he had not heard them, persists in his haughty disdain! Hence, announce unto him grievous suffering 8 When he learns something of Our revelations, he derides them: for such there will be humiliating torment. 9 Before them is hell, and there shall not avail them aught of what they earned, nor those whom they took for guardians besides Allah, and they shall have a grievous punishment. 10 This is guidance. Those who deny the revelations of their Lord will suffer a dreadful doom. 11
