Al-A 'araaf 8 of 24

We sent Noah (of old) unto his people, and he said: O my people! Serve Allah. Ye have no other Allah save Him. Lo! I fear for you the retribution of an Awful Day. 59 But the assembly of his nation said: 'We can see that you are in clear error.' 60 'I am not in error, my nation' he replied. 'I am a Messenger from the Lord of the Worlds 61 I am conveying my Lord's messages to you and giving you sincere advice. I know things from God that you do not. 62 Then do you wonder that there has come to you a reminder from your Lord through a man from among you, that he may warn you and that you may fear Allah so you might receive mercy." 63 But they called him a liar, so We delivered him and those with him in the ark, and We drowned those who rejected Our communications; surely they were a blind people. 64
