The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ EXTOL the limitless glory of thy Sustainer's name: [the glory of] the Al-Highest, 1 who has created and shaped, 2 Who determined and guided them, 3 who brings forth the pastures, 4 And then doth make it (but) swarthy stubble. 5 We shall make you recite so that you will not forget, 6 Except what Allah wills; indeed He knows all the evident and all the concealed. 7 We shall facilitate for you the Easy Way. 8 Therefore do remind, surely reminding does profit. 9 Those who have fear of God will benefit 10 but aloof from it will remain that most hapless wretch 11 Who shall enter the great fire; 12 then he shall neither die therein, nor live. 13 But those will prosper who purify themselves, 14 who remembers the name of his Lord and prays, shall indeed be successful. 15 Nay, but you prefer the present life; 16 Whereas the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Indeed this is in the former scriptures. 18 The Scriptures of Ibrahim (Abraham) and Musa (Moses). 19
