Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
I swear by Ya Sin 1 I call to witness the Qur'an, custodian of all laws, -- 2 Truly, you (O Muhammad SAW) are one of the Messengers, 3 On a path that is straight, -- 4 by [virtue of] what is being bestowed from on high by the Almighty, the Dispenser of Grace, 5 That you may warn a people whose fathers were not warned, so they are heedless. 6 Certainly the word has proved true of most of them, so they do not believe. 7 We have put yokes round their necks right up to their chins, so that their heads are forced up (and they cannot see). 8 And We shall raise a barrier in front of them and a barrier behind them, and cover them over so that they will not be able to see. 9 Whether you warn them or do not warn, it is all the same; they will not believe. 10 You can only warn him who follows the Reminder (the Quran), and fears the Most Beneficent (Allah) unseen. Bear you to such one the glad tidings of forgiveness, and a generous reward (i.e. Paradise). 11 Verily, We shall indeed bring the dead back to life; and We shall record whatever [deeds] they have sent ahead, and the traces [of good and evil] which they have left behind: for of all things do We take account in a record clear. 12
