The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
۞ Praise the name of thy Lord the Most High, 1 Who created and proportioned 2 And who destined and [then] guided 3 who brought forth the pasturage 4 Then maketh it to stubble dusky. 5 We shall now make you read (O dear Prophet Mohammed peace and blessings be upon him), so you will not forget. 6 Except what Allah pleases, surely He knows the manifest, and what is hidden. 7 We shall make all your tasks easy. 8 Therefore advise, if advising is beneficial. 9 He who fears (Allah) shall heed it, 10 But the most hapless will flout it, 11 He will be cast into the Great Fire. 12 then he shall neither die therein, nor live. 13 Indeed successful is the one who became pure. 14 and mentions the Name of his Lord, and prays. 15 But nay, [O men,] you prefer the life of this world, 16 Although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Most surely this is in the earlier scriptures, 18 the revelations of Abraham and Moses. 19
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
