No, by the moon! 32 By the night when it withdraweth. 33 and the morning when it appears, 34 Verily, that [hell-fire] is Indeed one of the great [forewarnings] 35 As a warning unto men, 36 Unto him of you who will advance or hang back. 37 Every person is a pledge for what he has earned, 38 Except the Companions of the Right Hand. 39 in Gardens they will question 40 Concerning the culprits: 41 "what led you into hell?" 42 They shall say, 'We were not of those who prayed, and 43 “Nor used to feed the needy.” 44 "But we used to talk vanities with vain talkers; 45 "And we used to deny the Day of Judgment, 46 Till death overtook us. 47 So the intercession of intercessors shall not avail them. 48 Then what is wrong with them that they turn away from admonition, 49 as if they were startled asses 50 Fleeing away from a lion. 51 Rather each one of them desires that he should be given open Books. 52 Nay! But they fear not the Hereafter (from Allah's punishment). 53 Nay, verily, this (Quran) is an admonition, 54 So whosoever willeth may heed it. 55 But none will remember, unless Allah wills, He is the Owner of fear, the Owner of forgiveness. 56
