The Comet (Al-Taareq)
17 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Town (Al-Balad) before The Moon (Al-Qamar)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
CONSIDER the heavens and that which comes in the night! 1 - Ah, what will tell thee what the Morning Star is! 2 It is the piercing star. 3 That over each soul there is a guardian. 4 So let man consider of what he was created. 5 He has been created from an ejected drop of fluid 6 That issued from between the loins and ribs. 7 Verily He is Able to restore him, 8 on the Day when consciences are examined, 9 and he shall have no strength, no helper. 10 By the Firmament which returns (in its round), 11 and the replenishing earth, 12 the Quran is the final word, 13 And it is not amusement. 14 Verily they are plotting a plot. 15 and I too am devising a guile. 16 So allow time for the disbelievers. Leave them awhile. 17
God the Almighty always says the truth.
