(Moses) said: My Lord! relieve my mind 25 And make my affair easy to me, 26 And untie the knot from my tongue 27 That they may understand my speech. 28 Appoint for me of my folk a familiar, 29 Aaron, my brother. 30 Strengthen me through him, 31 And let him share my task, 32 so that we exalt You 33 "And remember Thee without stint: 34 Surely, Thou art seeing us. 35 Said He, 'Thou art granted, Moses, thy petition. 36 "And indeed, We bestowed Our favour upon thee at a time long since past, 37 When We inspired unto thy mother that which We inspired, 38 "'Throw (the child) into the chest, and throw (the chest) into the river: the river will cast him up on the bank, and he will be taken up by one who is an enemy to Me and an enemy to him': But I cast (the garment of) love over thee from Me: and (this) in order that thou mayest be reared under Mine eye. 39 [And We favored you] when your sister went and said, 'Shall I direct you to someone who will be responsible for him?' So We restored you to your mother that she might be content and not grieve. And you killed someone, but We saved you from retaliation and tried you with a [severe] trial. And you remained [some] years among the people of Madyan. Then you came [here] at the decreed time, O Moses. 40 "And I have prepared thee for Myself (for service)".. 41 Go, you and your brother, with My signs, and do not be remiss in remembering Me. 42 “Both of you go to Firaun; he has indeed rebelled.” 43 And speak unto him a gentle word, that peradventure he may heed or fear. 44 The two said:" Lord! We fear he may commit excesses against us, or transgress all bounds." 45 (The Lord) said: "Be not afraid. I am verily with you, and I hear and see. 46 So go to him and say, 'Indeed, we are messengers of your Lord, so send with us the Children of Israel and do not torment them. We have come to you with a sign from your Lord. And peace will be upon he who follows the guidance. 47 for, behold, it has been revealed to us that [in the life to come] suffering shall befall all who give the lie to the truth and turn away [from it]!"' 48 He said: who is the Lord of you twain, O Musa! 49 They replied, "Our Lord is the One Who has created all things and has given guidance". 50 Said [Pharaoh]: "And what of all the past generations?" 51 Said Moses, 'The knowledge of them is with my Lord, in a Book; my Lord goes not astray, nor forgets -- 52 The One Who has made the earth a bed for you and kept operative roads for you in it and sent down water from the sky; so with it We produced different pairs of vegetation. 53 You eat and let your cattle graze' Surely, in this there are signs for those of understanding. 54
