The All Compassionate (Al-Rahman)
78 verses, revealed in Medina after Thunder (Al-Ra'ad) before The Human (Al-Insan)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ The Beneficent Allah, 1 has taught the Koran. 2 He created man. 3 Taught him the mode of expression. 4 The sun and the moon follow courses (exactly) computed; 5 And the herbs and the trees do obeisance. 6 He raised the sky and set the Balance 7 (Transgress not in the Balance, 8 Give just weight and do not skimp the scales. 9 And the earth He laid [out] for the creatures. 10 therein fruits, and palm-trees with sheaths, 11 and a variety of corn with both husk and grain. 12 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord, will ye twain belie? 13 He created man of a clay like the potter's, 14 And He created the jinn of a flame of fire. 15 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie 16 He is the Lord of the East and West through all seasons. 17 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 18 He has let free the two bodies of flowing water, meeting together: 19 Between them is a Barrier which they do not transgress: 20 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 21 Pearls and coral-stone come forth from them. 22 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 23 And His are the ships going and coming in the seas, like mountains. 24 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 25

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
