Said Moosa, “My Lord, open up my breast for me.” 25 And ease for me my task 26 And untie the knot from my tongue 27 "So they may understand what I say: 28 And appoint for me a minister from my household. 29 Aaron, my brother. 30 by him confirm my strength, 31 and let him share my task, 32 That we may sing Your praises much, 33 “And profusely remember You.” 34 Verily, You have always watched over us." 35 (Allah) said: "Granted is thy prayer, O Moses!" 36 And assuredly We conferred a benefit on thee another time. 37 "When We inspired your mother with that which We inspired. 38 'Put him in a wooden box and cast it in the river. The river will cast it on the bank. An enemy of Ours, and his, will retrieve it.' We bestowed Our love on you that you may be reared under Our eyes. 39 "When your sister went and said: 'Shall I show you one who will nurse him?' So We restored you to your mother, that she might cool her eyes and she should not grieve. Then you did kill a man, but We saved you from great distress and tried you with a heavy trial. Then you stayed a number of years with the people of Madyan (Midian). Then you came here according to the fixed term which I ordained (for you), O Musa (Moses)! 40 I chose you for Myself. 41 go therefore, thou and thy brother; with My signs, and neglect not to remember Me. 42 "Go, both of you, to Fir'aun (Pharaoh), verily, he has transgressed (all bounds in disbelief and disobedience and behaved as an arrogant and as a tyrant). 43 And speak to him with gentle speech that perhaps he may be reminded or fear [Allah]." 44 They said: "O our Lord, we are really frightened lest he behave insolently with us or become violent." 45 He replied: 'Have no fear I shall be with you, both hearing and seeing. 46 So go you both to him and say: Surely we are two apostles of your Lord; therefore send the children of Israel with us and do not torment them! Indeed we have brought to you a communication from your Lord, and peace is on him who follows the guidance; 47 Lo! it hath been revealed unto us that the doom will be for him who denieth and turneth away. 48 Said Firaun, “So who is the Lord of you both, O Moosa?” 49 He said, "Our Lord is He who gave each thing its form and then guided [it]." 50 Pharaoh said, 'And what of the former generations?' 51 [Musa (Moses)] said: "The knowledge thereof is with my Lord, in a Record. My Lord is neither unaware nor He forgets, " 52 [It is He] who has made for you the earth as a bed [spread out] and inserted therein for you roadways and sent down from the sky, rain and produced thereby categories of various plants. 53 Eat and pasture your cattle; most surely there are signs in this for those endowed with understanding. 54
