It is God who has created ears, eyes, and hearts for you. Little are the thanks that you give. 78 And it is He Who has created you on the earth, and to Him you shall be gathered back. 79 And He it is Who giveth life and causeth death, and His is the difference of night and day. Have ye then no sense? 80 And talk as did the people of old. 81 They say: "Is it that when we are dead and have been reduced to dust and bones, shall we then be raised up again? 82 "Such things have been promised to us and to our fathers before! they are nothing but tales of the ancients!" 83 Say: "To whom belong the earth and all beings therein? (say) if ye know!" 84 They will say, "To Allah." Say, "Then will you not remember?" 85 Say: "Then who is the Lord of the seven skies? And who is the Lord of the mighty Throne?" 86 They will say, "[They belong] to Allah." Say, "Then will you not fear Him?" 87 Say, "In whose hands lies sovereignty over all things, protecting all, while none can seek protection against Him? Tell me, if you have any knowledge." 88 [And] they will reply: "[All this power belongs] to God." Say: 'How, then, can you be so deluded?" 89 Nay! We have brought to them the truth, and most surely they are liars. 90 God has not begotten a son, nor is there any god besides Him. Had this been so, each god would have taken away what he had created with him, and some would have risen over the others. God is much too glorious for what they attribute (to Him)! 91 The knower of the absent and the present, too exalted is He for what they associate (with Him)! 92
