The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
By the morning brightness 1 and the brooding night! 2 Your Lord has neither left you, nor despises you. 3 Indeed what is to come will be better for you than what has gone by. 4 Verily your Lord will soon give you so amply that you will be well-pleased. 5 Did He not find you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) an orphan and gave you a refuge? 6 And He found thee wandering, and He gave thee guidance. 7 And He found thee in need, and made thee independent. 8 Do not oppress the orphans 9 And do not rebuke the beggar. 10 But tell of the favors of your Lord! 11
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
