۞ We revealed to Moses: "Set forth with My servants by night for you will be pursued." 52 The Pharaoh sent word to all the cities saying, 53 (Proclaiming): "Surely they are a small band (of fugitives). 54 but they are indeed filled with hatred of us 55 seeing that we are, verily, a nation united, fully prepared against danger 56 So We expelled them from gardens and fountains, 57 And from treasures and nice houses. 58 Even so. And We gave them as a heritage to the children of Israel. 59 Pharaoh and his people pursued them at sunrise, 60 So when the two hosts saw each other, the companions of Musa cried out: Most surely we are being overtaken. 61 'No, indeed' he replied, 'my Lord is with me and He will guide me' 62 We commanded Moses: "Smite the sea with your staff." And it parted, and every parting was like a lofty mountain. 63 In the meantime We made the others approach that place. 64 And We saved Musa and those with him, all of them. 65 Then We drowned the others. 66 Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers. 67 Indeed your Lord is mighty and merciful. 68
