You shall not kill your offspring for fear of want. It is We who provide for them, and for you. Indeed, killing them is a great sin. 31 And do not approach adultery – it is indeed a shameful deed; and a very evil way. 32 And do not kill anyone which Allah has forbidden, except for a just cause. And whoever is killed (intentionally with hostility and oppression and not by mistake), We have given his heir the authority [(to demand Qisas, Law of Equality in punishment or to forgive, or to take Diya (blood money)]. But let him not exceed limits in the matter of taking life (i.e. he should not kill except the killer only). Verily, he is helped (by the Islamic law). 33 Do not get close to the property of the orphans (unless it is for a good reason) until they are mature and strong. Keep your promise; you will be questioned about it. 34 And give full measures when ye measure and weigh with an even balance that is good, and the best interpretation. 35 And never concern thyself with anything of which thou hast no knowledge: verily, [thy] hearing and sight and heart - all of them - will be called to account for it [on Judgment Day]! 36 Do not walk proudly on the earth. You cannot cleave the earth, nor can you rival the mountains in height. 37 All the bad aspects of these (the above mentioned things) are hateful to your Lord. 38 That is of the wisdom your Lord has revealed to you. Do not set up with Allah another god, or you will be cast into Gehenna, condemned and rejected. 39 Then, has your Lord chosen you for [having] sons and taken from among the angels daughters? Indeed, you say a grave saying. 40
